Units, Conversions & Significant Figures
Aug 6th 2011, 09:46

The first topics covered in a chemistry class are units, conversions, and significant figures. Mastering these concepts is essential for success. You need to know about the metric system, be able to convert between metric units, convert between metric and other units, and make calculations using the correct number of significant figures. Since the start of the school year is just around the corner, I've got a quiz on the subject so you can test yourself to make sure you're up to speed. You may wish to review units & measurements first. Once you've mastered the calculations, use online converters to save yourself time on problem sets.
